Peter Hatzikostas is a registered building practitioner with over four decades experience across the residential building industry.

Having undertaken the study of the carpentry trade at Swinburne Technical College, Peter entered the industry as an apprentice honing and refining his craft completing carpentry works on renovations and new builds across Melbourne.

Peter obtained his residential and commercial building licences going on to found Kostas Constructions where he commenced coordinating a higher volume of larger scale residential builds and developments within Melbourne. Keenly observing changes and advances across the many domains within the industry over the years, Peter has maintained a mentality that ensures the company's continuous evolution in alignment with these progressions.

A technician in purest form, Peter employs his attention to detail and technical understanding across his daily practices. These principles have been the keystone to the growth of Kostas Constructions over decades and are now held dearly as the core values that shape the company ethos moving forward.

As the director, Peter remains heavily involved in overseeing the building process, maintaining governance across all projects.

Senior Project Manager

Andy has dedicated his professional life to the art of residential building.

Having started his apprenticeship with Kostas Constructions in 2002 and qualifying as a carpenter, Andrew continued to work within the business full time whilst studying to obtain an array of building qualifications. He is now a registered domestic building practitioner in his third decade of experience within the industry.

As Senior Project Manager, Andy is responsible for overseeing and managing all residential projects alongside Peter. His wealth of knowledge and experience partnered with his astute operational practices allows for the precise execution and efficient delivery of projects.

Attention to detail and clinical technical execution are pillars upon which Kostas Constructions has grown over the years. Paying close attention to design specifications and ensuring best strategy for implementation is a constant in Andrews work.

Ideating and advising on ways to achieve custom design elements is a stimulating and welcomed challenge that keeps Andy inspired to continue delivering unique residences.

Project Manager / Design Coordinator

With a background in creative disciplines and a deep appreciation for both architecture and interior design, Stevie revels in the opportunity to facilitate the realisation of unique design into being of tangible form.

Stevie’s role ranges from frequent communication with architects, designers and clients all the way through to assisting Peter and Andy on the administrative side of project management, applying his passion for the artistic nature of residential construction to ensure optimal outcomes not only from a design perspective but from the overall project perspective also.

Stevie interprets his role as acting as a conduit of sorts. Providing an additional pathway for connectivity between the individuals at both the design side and construction side of the project at hand. This is with the intent to promote a streamlined, consistent and abundant flow of communication ensuring dynamic collaboration.

It is at this collaborative intersection that Stevie finds the spark that drives a desire to continue to take on projects that inspire him creatively.
